MotoGP: Marc Márquez shines in Thailand, wins first Grand Prix
The Spanish rider, six-time world champion, made a great debut with his new team, Ducati. Álex Márquez finished second and Francesco Bagnaia third.

Spanish rider Marc Márquez, six-time MotoGP world champion, finished on top of the podium at the Thai Grand Prix, the first race of the new premier class motorcycling season. It was his debut with his new team, Ducati.
With his win in Saturday's sprint and taking pole position, Márquez completes a perfect weekend. He moves to top of the standings with 37 points.
"Yesterday I was happy. Today I am super happy. It's a dream to start the adventure with Ducati in this way," said the Spanish rider just after taking victory in the Thai GP.
The podium of the first race of the new MotoGP season was completed by Márquez's brother, Álex Márquez (Gresini Racing MotoGP), and Italian Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati).
This MotoGP season will be the longest in history: it will feature 22 Grand Prix and will end in November.
