The Dallas Mavericks added another regular-season defeat after losing to the Miami Heat in overtime (123-118). Luka Doncic's absence hurt the Texas franchise's chances of victory.

The game was so close that both teams went into overtime. The Heat took control early on, finishing the first 12 minutes with a five-point lead.

Despite being without their star player, the Mavericks refused to give up, preventing the Heat from extending their lead. In the fourth quarter, the Texans rallied to tie the game and force overtime, but ultimately, they fell short.

Kyrie Irving’s 27 points, along with double-doubles from PJ Washington (21 points, 10 rebounds) and Dereck Lively II (14 points, 13 rebounds), highlighted the Mavericks’ efforts to secure the win. Klay Thompson finished with 15 points, while Naji Marshall added 20.

However, the Mavericks were up against a standout performance from Jimmy Butler who scored 33 points, one of his best outings of the season. He was supported by double-doubles from Bam Adebayo (19 points, 11 rebounds) and Tyler Herro (18 points, 10 rebounds).

What will it take to interrupt the Cavaliers' streak?

The Cleveland Cavaliers triumphed once again, defeating the Raptors 122-108 and remaining undefeated in the regular season. Only the Boston Celtics, in the NBA Cup, have managed to beat the Ohio franchise.

The Raptors made a push in the second and third quarters, but they couldn't come back from Cavaliers' 16-point lead from the first quarter.

Jarrett Allen (23 points), Donovan Mitchell (26), and Ty Jerome all surpassed the 20-point mark, while Evan Mobley scored 14 points and Darius Garland added 16.
