President Donald Trump passed his annual physical without complications and maintains "excellent" health, according to a statement issued by his attending physician, Navy Captain Sean P. Barbabella.
The evaluation, conducted Friday morning at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, included laboratory tests, diagnostics and a review by fourteen specialists. According to the report released Sunday by the White House, no relevant health problems were detected, and Trump's cardiac, pulmonary, neurological and overall physical functions are solid.
Results without anomalies
Among the data recorded, Trump is 6'2 feet tall, weighs just over 222 pounds, has a blood pressure of 128/74 mmHg, a resting heart rate of 62 beats per minute and an oxygenation of 99% in ambient air. His body temperature remained within normal ranges at 98.6°F (37°C).
The report also mentions a scar on the right ear resulting from a gunshot wound but does not specify further details. As for his habits, it is noted that Trump has abstained from tobacco and alcohol consumption all his life, which is also listed in his medical history.
Medication and lifestyle
Currently, the president takes four medications: two for cholesterol control (rosuvastatin and ezetimibe), aspirin as a preventive measure for cardiovascular health, and a cream with mometasone for a dermatological condition.
The report also highlights the president's level of activity. According to the press release, he maintains a constant rhythm of meetings, public appearances, press conferences and regular participation in golf tournaments. This active routine would have contributed significantly to his general state of health.
