Ron DeSantis suffers traffic accident in Tennessee
The governor of Florida was not injured. He was traveling to an election event in Chattanooga.

Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis was involved in a car accident Tuesday. According to his cabinet sources, the presidential candidate is not injured and is in good condition.
DeSantis was traveling to Chattanooga, Tenn., to attend an election event to raise campaign funds. According to Bryan Griffin, his campaign manager, there were a number of people accompanying DeSantis in the vehicle.
Griffin released a statement shortly after the accident.
This morning, the governor was involved in an automobile accident while traveling to an event in Chattanooga, Tenn. He and his team are unharmed. We appreciate the prayers and good wishes from all over the country for his continued protection during his election campaign.
