"LatinX" disappears from official Arkansas records
The governor of the state, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, has justified her veto of the term following a majority rejection by the Hispanic community and the correct use of the language.
The progressive attempt to deform language and force inclusive vocabulary is not well regarded by a large majority. One of those concepts that the left tried to popularize was latinX, which met with an overwhelming opposition from Hispanics -the community mainly affected by this term- according to a survey by the Bienvenido organization. Adding to that aversion is Arkansas' new governor, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, by banning the use of latinX in official documents through an executive order.
Sanders, who was sworn in on Tuesday, justified this veto following Hispanics' overwhelming rejection of the term latinX and the use of correct language:
