Brilliant work from the police and army
The police deployed forces from the prosecutor's office and even the army. Law enforcement forces quickly deployed additional officers, planes and helicopters, which continue to fly over the area where the criminals were last seen. General William Salamanca, director of the police, personally led Operation Candado, announcing that he would travel to the area to handle the investigations.
