Carlos Alcaraz continues to be unstoppable, advances to Wimbledon final

The world number one will fight to win his second Grand Slam against Novak Djokovic.

Carlos Alcaraz qualified for the Wimbledon final after beating Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev in three sets (6-3, 6-3, 6-3) in a match that lasted 1 hour and 48 minutes. The Spanish player was far superior to his opponent on the London court and will play his second Grand Slam final, after winning the U.S. Open in 2022.

The current number one in the ATP ranking, at only 20 years of age, once again gave a tennis master class. Alcaraz displayed an offensive game that was unstoppable for his opponent. He managed to break Medvedev six times, while the Spaniard only gave up two.

In the Wimbledon final Sunday, Alcaraz awaits the world number two, Serbian Novak Djokovic, who ousted the Italian Jannik Sinner in three sets (6-3, 6-4, 7-6) in the other semifinal.
