David Gail was born on February 27, 1965 in Tampa, Florida. As can be read on IMDB, the actor began his acting career on the small screen in 1990 when he obtained a role in "Growing Pains" where he played Norman during a single episode.
After this, Gail had a small role on "Beverly Hills 90210" in 1991 and 1994. There he played Stuart Carlson, the boyfriend of Brenda Walsh (who was played by actress Shannen Doherty), for a total of eight episodes. It was the beginning of a career that continued with important roles in the television series "Robin's Hoods" (1994-1995) and "Savannah" (1996-1997). His first leading role came with the fiction "Port Charles," where he played Dr. Joe Scanlon for a total of 216 episodes.
