All the news from Tudum 2023: New seasons of 'Squid Game', 'Bridgerton' and 'Heartstopper'

The third edition of the Netflix event was held in Brazil and featured important announcements about upcoming releases that can be enjoyed on the popular platform.

On Saturday, June 17, the third edition of Tudum began: the Netflix event that announces the most anticipated news and premieres for fans of the popular streaming platform. In this edition, the highlights are the imminent arrival of new seasons of series such as "The Squid Game," "Cobra Kai," "Bridgerton," "Heartstopper," "Lupin" and "Elite," among many others.

Chris Hemsworth, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot and Jenna Ortega are some of the actors who arrived in Sao Paulo to participate in the event. Social networks exploded after the new releases that the platform will launch between 2023 and 2024 became known.

"The Squid Game" was one of the most-watched series in 2021 and will return with a second season. Lee Jung Jae will reprise his role as Gi Hun, accompanied by Wi Ha Joon, Gong Yoo and Lee Byung Hun. In addition, Im Siwan, Kang Ha Neul and Park Sung Hoon will join the cast. Another new feature was "Squid Game: The Challenge", a new reality show in which ordinary people will live the experience of the movie.

On the other hand, just days after "Extraction 2" premiered, the action film starring Hemsworth,  they announced that they are preparing a third installment.

Netflix announced releases on Tudum

Élite: The seven season with a premiere date of October 20.

Bridgerton: The third season is on the way.

Lupin: Omar Sy confirmed the third installment of the French series.

Heartstopper: A second season has been announced.

Emily in Paris: A fourth season is coming and will be about a vacation in Rome.

Berlin: the prequel to "Money Heist" is on its way and has a complicated plot: stealing 44 million euros($48 million) in one afternoon.

Cobra Kai: The sixth and final season was announced.

Merlina: A second season was announced.

Stranger Things: Linda Hamilton, Sarah Connor from "Terminator" will join the cast of the fifth season.

The Witcher: A third season is set to premiere on June 29. It will be the last featuring Henry Cavill as Gerald de Rivia.

Avatar: The Legend of Aang: The movie will be released in 2024 and will be made with flesh-and-blood actors, replacing the animation of the popular series.

One Piece: the best-selling manga series in history will arrive on the platform on August 31 and will feature Iñaki Godoy, Mackenyu Arata, Emily Rudd, Jacob Gibson and Taz Skylar, among others.

Fubar: Arnold Schwarzenegger will return for a second season.

Agent Stone: directed by Tom Harper, will be released on August 11. Gal Gadot will try to prevent a valuable amulet from falling into the wrong hands.
