Who is Huma Abedin, Alex Soros' new partner?

The MSNBC contributor was an advisor to Hillary Clinton and was married to former Democratic politician Anthony Weiner, convicted of sending explicit content to a minor.

MSNBC contributor and former political advisor Huma Bedin revealed this week that she is the new partner of Alex Soros, son of magnate and philanthropist George Soros. Abedin and Soros shared a temporary photo together celebrating Valentine's Day through their Instagram profiles.

Huma Abedin was an advisor to Hillary Clinton when she headed up the State Department. An avowed Democrat, she also worked for the Clinton family foundation and worked for several consulting firms thanks to her experience in the Obama Administration. She joined the MSNBC network team in 2022.

The meeting between Abedin and Soros is revealed almost seven years after Abedin's divorce. Previously, she was married from 2010 to 2017 to former Democratic politician Anthony Wiener. The latter completely ruined his own political career when a series of sexual scandals were uncovered that led to his resignation.

Wiener, in addition to sending unsolicited erotic photos to women online, under the pseudonym Carlos Danger, also sent pornographic content to a minor. For this last act he was convicted, after having abandoned his public positions as a Democrat.
