Three human heads left in front of a military barracks in Cancun with a message from narcos

The discovery comes days after the capture of a major capo of Los Chapitos, a faction of the Sinaloa Cartel.

Residents of Avenida Jose Lopez Portillo, in Region 103, Cancun, denounced this past Monday evening the discovery of a four meter long banner with a threatening message from the narco drug traffickers. When the security forces arrived and removed the blanket, they found the heads of three males underneath, one of them apparently a child. The threatening message was addressed to the military from the barracks directly across the street. The complete message has not been revealed, but the signature is: "Atte: the one who feeds you, you balls of f..."

The discovery of the drug traffickers' message and the human heads comes after the arrest on May 13 of Hector Elias Flores, alias 'El 15,' identified as the alleged leader of Los Chapitos - a faction of the Sinaloa Cartel - in Quintana Roo. On May 15, authorities held a press conference in which they shared details about the capture of this dangerous criminal. "He was arrested in Sinaloa, Guamúchil, precisely when he was about to enter a clinic where he planned to have an operation to transform his face, although he had already had some hair grafts," said Oscar Montes de Oca, head of the Quintana Roo Prosecutor's Office.

So far, the identities of those killed and the full content of the message have not been revealed. No arrests have been made in connection with this macabre event.
