Pro-Palestinian protesters try to storm the White House and force non-essential staff to evacuate

A group of radicals with Palestinian flags gathered in front of the presidential residence chanting "f*** you, Biden!" hitting the security fence and throwing objects at the deployed officers.

A group of violent protesters carrying Palestinian flags and shouting "f*** you, Biden!" tried to tear down a protective fence in front of the White House. The violence of the attacks managed to detach a part of the fence and forced a number of non-essential personnel to be evacuated from the building.

Secret Service and police officers confront protesters

The videos show the crowd violently pushing the additional protection fence, moving it backwards, forcing police and members of the Secret Service to deploy and push it in the opposite direction to prevent the violent protesters from advancing. Some of the protesters even confronted law enforcement officers with a clearly threatening attitude, while a man with a whistle tried to push back the first line of assailants.

Throwing objects at agents deployed in front of the White House

Shortly after, according to the marine and journalist Julio Rosas, some of those present began to throw objects at the law enforcement officers while shouting "break it down! You support the murder of children!"

"No vote for Genocide Joe"

The additional fence was erected just hours earlier by the Secret Service, in anticipation that the demonstration to demand the end of the Gaza war and accuse Israel of genocide could turn violent and, that the most exalted would try to access the White House - the designated end point of the march - as finally happened. In the afternoon, thousands of people walked the streets of Washington DC with signs reading "no vote for Genocide Joe," "Biden has blood on his hands" and "Let Gaza live."

Some of those present stopped to place Palestinian flags and kufiyas - the typical Palestinian scarf - on the statue of Rochambeau, in Lafayette square.

There were no arrests despite the attempted assault on the White House

Finally, most of the protesters left the place without achieving their objective. Despite the incidents, no arrests were made, according to Rosas himself, and The New York Post. The agents deployed displayed the objects that had fallen in their area, thrown by the rioters.
