Police are looking for two more suspects in the beating that killed Jonathan Lewis

Authorities have already arrested eight teenagers for the death of the 17-year-old.

Las Vegas police posted a video this Thursday asking citizens to collaborate in the arrest of two other suspects of participating in a beating that killed 17-year-old Jonathan Lewis earlier this month.

"Through the course of the investigation, detectives were able to identify eight juveniles involved in the homicide. The individuals were arrested and booked into the Clark County Juvenile Hall for open murder. Detectives still need help identifying two outstanding persons of interest in the homicide and are asking the public for assistance," police said.

Yesterday, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said it arrested eight teenagers in Lewis' death. Authorities detailed that they took the subjects, who are between 13 and 17 years old, to a juvenile center.

"The individuals were arrested by The Criminal Apprehension Team and booked into the Clark County Juvenile Hall for open murder," the police detailed in a statement published on social media.

Lewis' death occurred after he was beaten by a group of 15 teenagers. The incident occurred in an alley near Rancho High School. The cause of death of the young man was blunt force trauma and was classified as homicide.
