Kanye makes "White Lives Matter" slogan trendy in Paris

Candace Owens denounces "fraudulent nature" of million-dollar 'Black Lives Matter' movement.

Musician and fashion designer Ye, an artist formerly known as Kanye West, has participated in the Paris fashion week wearing the message "White lives matter." The slogan declares that not only black lives have value, which has created a sour reaction from the left.

Ye has come to Paris to show his collection at the French capital's fashion week. The collection is called "The YZY Experience," in which he embodies his ideas about clothing.

Criticism of Yeezy

Yeezy has arrived in Paris hand in hand with his partner, conservative activist Candece Owens. Both wore a T-shirt with a photo of John Paul II on the front with the slogan "we will follow your example", and on the back the slogan "White Lives Matter."

Jaden Smith, son of Will Smith, attended the exhibition of Ye's models, but upon observing the commotion caused by the T-shirts, he got up and left the place.

West has been heavily criticized. In an article published in the New York Times, Vanessa Friedman has shown that since she doesn't agree with Yeezy's slogan, she doesn't like the rapper's designs:

a chaotic mess of self-justification, confessional, bone-picking and messianic ambition, with a “White Lives Matter” shot of shock and provocation that overshadowed the clothes on the runway.

TMZ's Van Lathan says, "This message is reactionary to a message affirming the worth of Black lives, which have never been worth anything in America. In its intent, it’s a white supremacist notion."

Mark Lamont Hill, a professor at Temple University, adds, "Kanye West´s decision to wear a ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt is disgusting, dangerous, and irresponsible. Some of y’all will rush to defend him. You should ask yourselves why."

Andy Ngo, adds:

Leftists & #Antifa accounts are furious that rapper Ye, who is black and was formerly known as @kanyewest, wore a "White Lives Matter" t-shirt at his Yeezy fashion show in Paris. Leftist & liberal activists say it is a hate slogan.

West seems to be unimpressed by the criticism: "I am Ye, and everyone here knows that I am the leader. You can’t manage me."

West has not limited himself to castigating the attendees with his designs. He has also castigated the multi-million dollar Black Lives Matter movement: "Everyone knows that Black Lives Matter was a scam. Now it's over. You're welcome." But West is a man of few words. Candece Owens, however, has a podcast in which she discusses current events, and she has expressly addressed this issue. The conservative activist says:

I'm doing an entire documentary to expose the fraudulent nature of that movement, and the organization that stood behind it, and benefited billions and billions of dollars because they elicited black grief. They sold black people a concept of their oppression. They used poorer black Americans as a marketing firm for their organization. And where did that money go? Well, certainly not to black America.
