In recent years, not only has hostility and aggression against Catholicism skyrocketed in the United States, but the same has been true in Canada. According to data provided by the Canadian government, hate crimes against the Catholic Church increased by 260% in 2021 compared to 2020 in a country where five out of ten citizens are Catholic.

This chilling statistic comes at a time when Canadian President Justin Trudeau is focusing his efforts on implementing progressive policies that exclusively favor other issues such as sexual identity, as he mentioned in this tweet:

According to official data, hate crimes against other religions also increased, although to a much lesser extent than those perpetrated against Catholics. Hate crimes towards Jews increased by 47% from 2020 to 2021; while hostility towards Muslims rose by 71%.
