Foreign journalists enter Israeli forensic institute to expose Hamas atrocities
Several of the journalists could not bear to see the corpses and "the horrible scenes in the autopsy rooms." The Israeli authorities want the world to see the barbarities committed by the terrorists.
The National Center for Forensic Medicine of Israel (Abu Kabir) allowed, for the first time in its history, foreign press to enter its facilities to expose the atrocities committed by the terrorist group Hamas.
"The stench of death and putrefaction was overwhelming on Abu Kabir’s bottom floor where bodies that await specialized examination and bone fragments are unloaded for DNA extraction or study by anthropologists, The Times of Israel reported.
The outlet reported that several of the journalists could not bear to see the bodies and " the horrific scenes in the autopsy rooms." The Israeli authorities want the world to see the atrocities committed by terrorists. “They [deniers] say we are faking it and that we are working on the charred remains of dogs. No! These are the remains of human beings,” said Chen Kugel, head of the National Center for Forensic Medicine, in statements reported by The Times of Israel.
Dr. Kugel revealed that it is the first time in his 30 years of career that he has experienced a situation like this:
"We have bodies coming in without heads"
According to The Times of Israel, "Despite how intensively Abu Kabir’s staff are working as they try to establish the identity of the most degraded remains of the mass-murderous Hamas attack on southern Israeli communities on October 7, it was felt important to make room in their tight quarters for journalists to document these atrocities for the world to see."
Israel's forensic teams, which are working to recognize victims of the Hamas terrorist group, have found signs of widespread torture, rape and mutilation on many of the bodies of some 1,300 murdered in different Israeli cities and communities last week.
Dr. Hagar Mizrahi told reporters that as of Monday morning, 959 body bags containing remains in several states had arrived at the IDF Shura base near Ramle and 504 victims had been identified. In addition, she stated that there are still 297 bodies or bags with unidentified remains. The Times of Israel claimed that "most of (these remains) were expected to be transferred to Abu Kabir for advanced forensic examination."
