The Packers defeat the Panthers on a night marked by Christian Watson's return after being hospitalized
Green Bay defeated Carolina 27-19 at Lambeau Field, with an outstanding performance by Jordan Love, who threw for 288 yards and three touchdowns. Watson finished with 113 receiving yards despite having to leave the game in an ambulance due to a possible chest injury.

The Green Bay Packers defeated the Carolina Panthers 27-19 on Thursday at Lambeau Field, in a game marked by a scare involving wide receiver Christian Watson, who was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for a possible chest injury and later returned to the stadium to rejoin the game.
The quarterback Jordan Love led the team to victory with 288 passing yards and three touchdown passes, on a night when Green Bay's running game struggled, managing just 66 yards on 26 carries.
The Packers' defense was also decisive, recording six sacks on the opposing quarterback, Bryce Young. Watson, for his part, finished with eight receptions and 113 yards, despite missing about an hour of playing time.
With this result, Green Bay improved its record to 5-3, although it remains in last place in the competitive NFC North Division. Carolina, meanwhile, now has a 3-4 record but remains at the top of the South Division.
Watson was taken away in an ambulance and returned to the field
The day in Wisconsin began with a celebration by the Milwaukee Brewers, who paraded their first-ever World Series trophy, won the night before against the Tampa Bay Rays.
However, the start of the game did not go well for the Packers. Green Bay fumbled the kickoff return and allowed Carolina to score its first three points.
Love responded with a touchdown pass to the tight end Tucker Kraft, although kicker Trey Smack missed the extra point. Later, Chuba Hubbard scored a rushing touchdown for the Panthers and celebrated with his traditional leap into the Lambeau Field stands.
Amid the difficulties of the ground assault on Green Bay, Love threw a 53-yard pass to Watson. The receiver caught the ball but left the field shortly afterward and was taken by ambulance to a hospital for tests regarding a possible chest injury after coughing up blood.
The Packers kept up their offensive momentum. Josh Jacobs capped off a nine-play, 90-yard drive with a rushing touchdown. Later, linebacker Ty'Ron Hopper intercepted a pass from Young, allowing Green Bay to regain possession.
Love met up again with Matthew Golden, who scored a touchdown after dropping an initial 24-yard pass in the end zone.
After halftime, Jacobs extended the lead with his second touchdown, this time after catching a short pass from Love.
The Packers held off Carolina's comeback
One of the most striking moments of the night came when Watson returned to the stadium and stepped back onto the field wearing additional rib protection, after being taken to the hospital.
The receiver nearly caught a pass on his first play after returning to the field.
Carolina tried to mount a comeback when they were trailing 27-13. Young connected with Jalen Coker, who broke through several defenders and scored a touchdown to narrow the Panthers' deficit.
However, Carolina missed the two-point conversion attempt and was unable to mount a sucessful come back to win the game.
Green Bay's defense maintained control for the rest of the game to secure a 27-19 victory.
