The director of the FBI, Kash Patel, reported that the agency arrested several subjects in a possible terrorist plot in Michigan that was to occur this weekend. Patel's announcement was made on social media this Friday.
Patel explained that more details on the operation would be released in the coming hours:
"This morning the FBI thwarted a potential terrorist attack and arrested multiple subjects in Michigan who were allegedly plotting a violent attack over Halloween weekend," he wrote on X.
