Florida executes Glen Rogers by lethal injection
(AFP) A 62-year-old man was executed Thursday in Florida for murdering a woman in 1995.
Glen Rogers received a lethal injection at a Bradford County jail, according to state authorities.
On Nov. 5, 1995, Rogers met Tina Marie Cribbs at a bar in Tampa, on Florida's west coast, and left the premises with her.
According to court documents, the convicted man killed Cribbs with two stab wounds and left her body in the bathtub of a hotel room. The victim was 34 years old and the mother of two children.
Justice also convicted Rogers of the murder of Sandra Gallagher, 33, that same year in California, and considers him a suspect in the murders of two other women, in Mississippi and Louisiana.
Rogers was the 16th person executed in the United States in 2025 and the fifth in Florida.
