Trans activist Kendall Stephens accused of raping two children

Well-known Philadelphia trans activist Kendall Stephens was arrested after being accused of raping two young children, court documents obtained by multiple media outlets show.
Stephens was charged with "rape, involuntary deviant sexual intercourse, unlawful contact with minors, corruption of minors, indecent assault against people less than 13 years of age, obscenity to minors and endangering the welfare of children."
For now, a judge in Philadelphia set Stephens' bail at $250,000. Details of the case will be revealed as the investigation progresses.
What is known about Kendall Stephens?
In August 2020, Stephens was the victim of an assault in his South Philadelphia home. The perpetrator, Tymesha Wearing was found guilty of a hate crime and was sentenced to between 11 and a half months and 23 months of house arrest on charges of aggravated assault, burglary, assault and hate crimes.
Stephens became an LGBT activist following the attack.
