Operation Lone Star continues to be a success. Texas Governor Greg Abbott confirmed that, thanks to this program created by his administration in March 2021 aimed at defending the border, 422 million doses of fentanyl have already been seized. This is a more than positive result due to the lethality of this opioid.

Through a statement, Abbott reported that there were also 394,200 arrests of illegal immigrants. Also, more than 31,300 arrests of offenders with more than 29,100 felony charges:

Operation Lone Star continues to fill the dangerous gaps created by the Biden Administration's refusal to secure the border. Every individual apprehended or arrested and every ounce of drugs seized would have otherwise reached Texas communities and the nation because of President Joe Biden's open borders policies.

"Until President Biden reverses his open borders policies and does his job to secure the border, Texas will continue to protect Texans and Americans from chaos at the border," Abbott's statement read.

The governor of Texas took the opportunity to quantify the number of illegal immigrants he has sent so far to sanctuary cities:

More than 10,400 immigrants to Washington, D.C. since April 2022.

More than 10,300 immigrants to New York since August 5.

More than 4,100 immigrants to Chicago since August 31.

More than 2,000 immigrants to Philadelphia since November 15.

More than 300 immigrants to Denver since May 18.

More than 160 immigrants to Los Angeles since June 14.
