Video: Joey Chestnut wins annual Nathan's contest again after eating 62 hot dogs
However, he failed to break the record of 76 hot dogs set by himself in 2021.
Joey Chestnut came within 14 hot dogs of beating his own record in the Nathan's contest, which is held every year during the 4th of July holiday. He did, however, manage to eat 62 in the 10 minutes he had and win the championship again.
With this new victory, the legendary hot dog eater has now won 16 editions of the men's category. Geoffrey Esper finished second (49 hot dogs) and Australian James Webb third (47).
