Nine more busloads of immigrants arrived to New York City this weekend from Texas alone. Fox News described that most of the passengers, adult men, with some women and children, claim they are seeking asylum and that the border is "100% open."

Last week, Adams noted that with the influx of so many people the city’s shelter system "is on the verge of breaking down" and that past practices in the Big Apple should be “reevaluated.”

Abbott Will Continue to Send Illegal Immigrants

The Texas government has bused more than 2,500 immigrants to New York City since August 5. Texas has also sent more than 8,000 illegals to Washington. DC. and Chicago since the end of August.

Last week, two busloads of immigrants arrived at Kamala Harris' Washington D.C. residence. Between 75 and 100 people departed from Del Rio, Texas, and showed up at the vice president's home at around 7 a.m.

Governor Greg Abbott stated that "until the Biden-Harris Administration stops denying the border crisis they have created, Texas will continue to bring the border to their doorstep."

Opening of a New Support Center

Last Thursday, New York City Mayor Eric Adams, along with the New York City Emergency Management (NYCEM) and the New York City Office of Immigrant Affairs (MOIA), announced that the Mayor of New York City, Eric Adams, and the New York City Office of Immigrant Affairs (MOIA) announced the opening of a new support center for new arrivals seeking asylum.
