Kennedy Jr. again calls voters to back Trump ahead of first presidential debate: 'No matter what state you live in, you should be voting for Donald Trump'
The former presidential candidate also reflected on the risks to free speech if Kamala Harris makes it to the White House.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. posted a video shortly before the first presidential debate between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris in which he again called on voters to back the Republican candidate.
"No matter what state you live in, you should be voting for Donald Trump," Kennedy Jr. said, asserting that his principles are similar to those of the Republican candidate. "That's the only way that we can get me and everything I stand for into Washington, D.C., and fulfill the mission that motivated my campaign."
The former presidential hopeful used his appearance to say that, currently, "freedom of speech is under withering and relentless attack," in addition to defending Elon Musk from attacks by Kamala Harris and the Democratic establishment.
"Well, in a lot of countries, you can't [watch this video or run an opposition political campaign] anymore because the state now controls the media. The state censors the internet. Brazil just banned Twitter because Elon Musk refused to censor users' speech. Kamala Harris says that Musk better behave himself, or he will 'lose his privileges, and it should be taken down. They are directly speaking to millions and millions of people without any level of oversight or regulation. And that has to stop,'" Kennedy Jr. continued, adding that the Democratic candidate and her establishment "think that free speech is a privilege. Well you know and I known that it is a right."
Regarding this same issue, the former presidential hopeful recalled in his video the censorship suffered by Trump from several media outlets and major internet platforms.
