Ben Shapiro analyzed the current war between Israel and Hamas. The popular political analyst stopped by Mark Levin’s show on Fox News and took aim at Joe Biden for sending funds to Iran and against the traditional media for allegedly creating a “moral parity” between “Israel and its enemies.” In turn, he called for sanctions on Qatar for being a “paradise” for terrorist leaders from around the world.

The editor emeritus of The Daily Wire spoke on Sunday on “Life, Liberty, Levin.” He first targeted the Biden Administration for the and against the foreign policy carried out by Barack Obama, describing it as one that “prevented Israel from defending itself.”

Shapiro was in Israel days before the terrorist attacks began, so he was close to finding himself in Israel when the war started.

Moments later, the duo discussed the rhetoric the American media has had regarding the Israeli conflict in recent years. Levin asked, “isn’t it also insane that the greatest ally that terrorists have in the United States is the American media?” to which Shapiro replied that the situation is “absolutely despicable.”

According to the political analyst, in recent years, the traditional media has morally equated Israel with its enemies around the world. “The American media has drawn a moral parity between Israel and its enemies for decades,” he said. At the same time, he indicated that, despite the media “pretending” that Hamas is fighting over a “territorial dispute,” if you were to ask one of its members, they “will say to your face what they want is to kill Jews.”

“And the entire American media looks the other way and pretends it’s not happening. They say, ‘Well, we but we can examine your ulterior motive. We know what you’re really thinking.’ And this really goes to the absolute arrogance of a lot of Western liberals, and that is [believing] ‘everyone thinks like they do,’” he added.

“The media buys into that same nonsense because when it comes to this particular conflict, the media has decided in their heads that the Western country has to be wrong by nature,” said Shapiro. “And because it’s wrong by nature, that means that anything that happens to that country must have inevitably been caused by the ‘occupation,’” Shapiro continued.

Finally, the political analyst specifically targeted Qatar, a country he accused of becoming a “paradise” for terrorist leaders worldwide. Although he proposed a series of economic sanctions to discourage this behavior, he was not very hopeful that they would be implemented in the near future.
