The Mexican National Soccer Team defeated Haiti 3-1 in Group B's second game in the 2023 Gold Cup, securing a place in the quarterfinals.

The game was played at State Farm Stadium in Phoenix, Arizona, and the Mexican goals were scored by Henry Martín and Santiago Giménez and Haiti's Ricardo Adé (own goal). Danley Jean Jacques scored for Haiti.

As a result, El Tri is now the leader of Group B and has secured its place in the quarterfinals with six points, three more than Haiti and five more than Qatar and Honduras, who tied last night 1-1, leaving them at the bottom of the group with only one point each.

Mexico will close the group stage this Sunday against Qatar.
