Gold Cup 2023: U.S. beats St. Kitts and Nevis 6-0
The U.S. team earned its first three points and moved into first place in its group, tied on points with Jamaica.
The United States national team beat St. Kitts and Nevis 6-0 on the second match day of the CONCACAF Gold Cup 2023. The U.S. team scored four goals in a 13-minute span of time, clinching the match from that point on. This brings Team USA's total to four points after its previous tie against Jamaica.
Jesus Ferreira scored a hat-trick at City Park in St. Louis. Djordje Mihailovic scored two other goals and the remaining goal was scored by Bryan Reynolds. With this victory, the United States leads Group A with 4 points, tied with Jamaica, but with a better goal difference. The group stage closes next Sunday against Trinidad and Tobago at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. In the other group match, Jamaica defeated Trinidad and Tobago 4-1.
