Christian group seeks five years in prison for the organizers of the Torrevieja pedophile Carnival

The Spanish Foundation of Christian Lawyers filed a complaint for "use of minors for exhibitionist shows" and asks the Prosecutor's Office to study whether there was "abuse of minors."

The Spanish Foundation of Christian Lawyers has filed a complaint against the organizers of the Torrevieja Carnival for the participation of a troupe that presented a pedophile show with the parade of half-naked children dressed in erotic clothing. The lawsuit indicates that this action allegedly incurred a crime of using minors for exhibitionist shows, which carries penalties of between one and five years in prison.

The Fiestas councilor and those responsible for the troupe, among those reported

In addition, the organization asks the Prosecutor's Office to study whether there are other crimes such as child abuse. According to article 181 of the Penal Code, those found guilty of this charge would face sentences of between two and six years. The lawsuit is directed against the Councilor for Festivals, Rosario Martínez (PP), the president and secretary of the Torrevieja Carnival Cultural Association, Francisco Pizana and Armando Bueno, respectively, and those responsible for the "Osadía" troupe, with whom the children performed.

Furthermore, Abogados Cristianos also demands the withdrawal of the fourth prize in the "disguise" category obtained by the troupe, as well as the 650 euros prize with which this prize was awarded.

Polonia Castellanos, president of the Christian organization, criticized what happened and asked Justice end the use of children in this type of spectacle: "That these events deserved a prize, it seems to us to be something reprehensible and which also falls into the type of crime of corruption of minors. "We hope that justice acts and that the innocence of children is not allowed to end and they are used in this way."
