Bizarrap, the producer behind Shakira's hit song against Piqué

The Argentine producer, who is the architect of the latest Hispanic urban music hits, premiered his new collaboration with Shakira this Thursday, which aims to be one of the most listened songs of the year.

Artists like Anuel AA, Nicky Jam or Shakira found a gold mine in Bizarrap. The 24-year-old Argentine producer and DJ keeps breaking records with each of the songs he releases with these artists. His BZRP Music Sessions are becoming worldwide hits, especially in Spanish-speaking countries. His brief but intense career led him to become one of the most listened-to artists.

Gonzalo Julián Conde, a native of Ramos Mejía (Argentina), began producing in 2017. At first, he spent his time "mixing" so-called "freestyle battles," which is when two rappers face off against one another. He soon took the leap to move his productions from live stages to recording collaborations with renowned artists in his studio located in Buenos Aires (Argentina).

With the BZRP Music Sessions, the Bizarrap phenomenon spread rapidly. He not only topped the list of the most listened-to artists in the Hispanic world, but also in other countries such as the United States, Brazil, France, and Italy. His success is evident on social media. He has around 5 million monthly listeners on Spotify, his YouTube channel has more than 17 million subscribers and his sessions has been played close to 1 billion times online.

His hit single BZRP Music Sessions #52 together with Spanish artist Quevedo, released in July 2022, was played more than 20 million times in its first two days on the music market. This Thursday, January 12, he released a new collaboration with Colombian singer Shakira. The new song seems like it will be a booming success considering that in just a few hours it surpassed 28 million views on Youtube.
