A shooting in Tacoma, Wash., left two dead and three injured. The event occurred on Sunday around 1:30 a.m. when a person shot at the Alleycat Patio and Lounge bar, near Sixth Avenue and N Oakes Street. According to what the initial statements from police, the shooting killed one person instantly and left several injured:

Authorities reported minutes later that the number of fatalities had risen to two people, since one of the injured had died upon arrival to the hospital. Additionally, three other people were injured and rushed to a hospital after they "suffered serious injuries," as reported by CNN. The same report also highlighted that authorities confirmed that they were trying to locate the suspect:
The suspect is still outstanding. It is believed the suspect interacted with one of the victims before the shooting, but it is not known if he knew the victim.
Alleged suspect surrenders to Tacoma authorities
Hours after the shooting, at 4:30 p.m., authorities updated the information again. This time, the Tacoma Police Department reported on X (formerly Twitter) that there was a fifth person injured and that, in addition, the alleged suspect had turned himself in:
