The US Office of Palestinian Affairs removed a post in which it called on Israelis to "refrain from violence and retaliatory attacks"

Hamas killed more than 300 people and injured more than a thousand.

The United States Office of Palestinian Affairs removed a post it made on social media in which it suggested that Israel should “refrain from violence and retaliatory attacks.”

This Saturday, the terrorist group Hamas carried out a ground and air attack in Israeli territory that killed more than 300 people and injured more than a thousand. In response, the US Office of Palestinian Affairs shared a message asking Israel not to carry out retaliatory strikes.

“We unequivocally condemn the attack of Hamas terrorists and the loss of life that has incurred. We urge all sides to refrain from violence and retaliatory attacks. Terror and violence solve nothing,” the office shared.

The post was deleted shortly after several social media users criticized the US stance.

“Why is the Joe Biden Administration telling Israel not to respond to the horrific evil being perpetrated by Palestinian terrorists?” asked one X user.

The Embassy is monitoring the situation

After deleting the message, the office stated that it is closely monitoring the situation in Israel and reminded American citizens to take appropriate measures to increase their security.
