Texas: a father and son arrested in connection with the murders of Savanah Soto and Matthew Guerra

San Antonio Police reported the arrests of Christopher Preciado, 19, and his father Ramón Preciado, 53, for their involvement in the death of the pregnant teenager and her boyfriend.

In the last hours, the San Antonio Police (Texas) have reported the arrest of a father and his son in connection with the deaths of Savanah Soto, a pregnant teenager, and her boyfriend, Matthew Guerra. The lifeless bodies of the couple were found inside a car in an apartment complex parking lot last week

The two suspects detained are Christopher Preciado, 19, and his father Ramón Preciado, 53, according to details provided by Sergeant Washington Moscoso late Wednesday. The son will be charged with capital murder and the father with abuse of a corpse after he helped his son move the bodies. Police said more charges may be filed.

Savanah Nicole Soto, 18, and her boyfriend, Matthew Guerra, 22, disappeared in late December, before being found dead in Guerra's car several days later. The couple disappeared one day before Soto, 9 months pregnant, was to be induced to give birth to her son.

Sergeant Moscoso pointed out that Soto's mobile phone, collected at the place where the bodies were found, was instrumental in the arrests. Police investigated the geolocation of the suspect's vehicle based on surveillance video. After following the trail, the agents found the vehicle and the house to which it was connected, where they found Christopher Preciado and his father, Ramón Preciado.
