Ten people are injured in a shooting in Miami Gardens during a music video recording for rapper French Montana

The city's police department continues to investigate the incident and, so far, has not provided information on any suspects.

A shooting left ten people injured at a restaurant in Miami Gardens, Fla. on Thursday night while well-known rappers French Montana and Rob49 were filming a music video near the restaurant. Four of the victims were taken to the hospital, one of them in critical condition. Rob49 is reported to be one of those injured.

Police received the tip shortly before 8 p.m. Upon arrival at the scene, they found several people injured on the ground. One of the witnesses said he heard about 15 shots and saw several people running away:

It was like at least 13, 14, 15 gunshots. It was very rapid, it sounded like an assault rifle. I took off running, and I was looking back, but I was like, ‘You know what? Let me just duck first, and then people started asking me, you know, ‘Can you help me?’ When I realized people were asking for help, there was nothing you could do about it when you got shot.

The Miami Gardens Police Department (MGPD) continues to investigate the incident, and it is not yet known if the rappers are involved, according to Detective Diana Gorgue:

We’re still working. We can’t confirm any numbers at this moment, because everything is still fresh, and they’re still investigating.

So far, the MGPD has not provided information on any possible suspects in the attack.
