Justice Department ignores Republican representatives and fails to respond to requests about sex trafficking victims linked to Hunter Biden

“The DOJ's actions reveal they care more about protecting the Bidens than the people affected,” said James Comer.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) appears to be turning a blind eye toward anything related to the sex trafficking case in which Hunter Biden is allegedly involved.

A report revealed that House investigators asked the DOJ to provide federal assistance to potential victims of the sex trafficking ring. However, the department has chosen not to answer whether they identified and offered help to people who may have been exploited by the president’s son.

According to legislators, on July 25, they sent a letter requesting information from the Department of Justice about the affected women. Upon receiving no response, representatives sent a follow-up request on September 8 but were once again unsuccessful.

“The Department of Justice’s actions reveal they care more about protecting the Bidens than victims,” House Oversight Chairman James Comer told the Washington Times.

“To date, the Department appears to have disregarded the victims who were sexually exploited by Hunter Biden and ignored our questions about who at the Justice Department knew of these allegations, what they did with the information, and what steps, if any, they have taken to uphold the victims’ rights under the law,” he continued.

The DOJ also did not want to charge Hunter Biden

The House Ways and Means Committee recently released a more than 700-page document about the committee’s investigation into Hunter Biden’s business dealings.

The file included details of at least nine occasions in which the president’s son paid sexual escorts and even covered the plane tickets for some of them. But despite all the evidence, the Department of Justice decided not to charge Hunter Biden for sex trafficking crimes.
