Israeli troops find dozens of missiles hidden under boxes from the UN refugee agency in Gaza

The use of offices, hospitals, mosques or even civilian residences as operations centers or weapons warehouses is a common practice by the Hamas terrorist group.

This Saturday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that they found dozens of Hamas missiles hidden under equipment from the United Nations Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).

According to the report, troops from the 7007th Reserve Battalion were searching a house in a Gaza neighborhood when they found a room full of boxes with the UN agency logo that supports Palestinian refugees.

At that location, dozens of rockets, mortars and other explosives of different capacities were found, including about 30 Grad rockets.

The use of offices of international agencies, hospitals, mosques or even civilian residences as operations centers or weapons warehouses is a common practice by the terrorist groups Hamas and Islamic Jihad.

For example, forces from the 215th Artillery Brigade raided a mosque used by the Palestinian terrorist group Islamic Jihad as its operations headquarters.

Additionally, the IDF reported that troops from the 414th Combat Intelligence Collection Unit operating north of Gaza found grenades, weapon parts and other military equipment in a child's bedroom.
