Concerns are growing that violence in the Middle East will reach a new level following a report that Wagner, the Russian mercenary group, plans to help Hezbollah with the delivery of a sophisticated missile system.
According to a report in The Wall Street Journal, American intelligence officials are monitoring talks between the Wagner group and the Lebanese militia that supports Hamas over the possible delivery of the missile defense system known as SA-22 or Pantsir-S1.
Officials revealed that there are already members of Hezbollah and the Wagner group in Syria, which is keeping the United States on alert.

Hezbollah joins forces with Hamas against Israel
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have assured that since the war between their country and Hamas broke out on October 7, Hezbollah has also intervened with bombings and launching anti-tank missiles.
A recent report indicates that violence between Hezbollah and Israel has caused the death of at least 7 Israeli soldiers and 19 Hezbollah terrorists.
They want to attack Israel "on all fronts"
According to Nir Barkat, Israel's Economy Minister, Hamas, Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad are teaming up to attack Israel "on all fronts."
"If we find they intend to target Israel, we will not just retaliate to those fronts, but we will go to the head of the snake, which is Iran," Barkat warned.
Since the start of the war, the United States has tried to prevent the conflict from spreading beyond Gaza, but it seems increasingly difficult to contain.
The United States increases the protection of its military forces in the region
Faced with the possibility of further increasing tensions in the region, the United States decided to deploy a dozen missile defense systems to protect American troops serving in Iraq, Syria, Kuwait, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, according to another report from The Wall Street Journal.
