The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were involved in a dangerous incident outside a gala in New York where Meghan Markle was honored. According to a spokesman for Prince Harry, several paparazzi chased them for hours on Tuesday night and caused the cab in which the son of the King of the United Kingdom, the actress and her mother were traveling to collide with several cars.

"Last night, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Mrs. Ragland were involved in a near catastrophic chase at the hands of a group of very aggressive paparazzi. This relentless pursuit, which lasted more than two hours, ended in multiple near-collisions involving other drivers on the road, pedestrians and two NYPD officers," the spokesman said in a statement carried by Reuters.
The spokesman stated that this chase could have been deadly. An incident reminiscent of the same incident that caused the death of Harry's mother, Diana of Wales, in Paris on August 31, 1997.
