Florida: Disney Cruise Line worker arrested for possession of child pornography

A group of Homeland Security investigators found evidence that Alvin González had in his possession a video of two minors having sexual intercourse.

The Broward Sheriff's Office in Florida arrested a man last Wednesday for possession of child pornography. Officers received a tip from a Homeland Security investigations task force stating that a former Disney Cruise Line worker, Alvin González, had child pornography on his mobile devices.

According to Fox News Digital, the arrest report states that at least one video lasting more than eight minutes was found on an SD card. This video showed two naked minors (a boy, between 8 and 10 years old, and a girl, between 12 and 14 years old) having sexual intercourse with each other.

Homeland Security found the video, which they sent to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and also sent evidence so that the Broward Sheriff's Office, in Florida, could proceed to his arrest. The 49-year-old man originally from Cavita, Philippines was arrested when he disembarked from the Disney Cruise Line vessel in Port Everglades. After arresting him, he was placed on a $20,000 bail. NBC Miami reports he is being held in the immigration warehouse while waiting for the criminal process to begin.

Disney Cruise Line issued a statement last Thursday ensuring that González was no longer part of the cruise fleet owned by The Walt Disney Company: "This individual is no longer with the company, and we will continue to cooperate with law enforcement."
