The illegitimate vice president of the Venezuelan regime, Delcy Rodriguez, launched a direct threat to the United States, assuring that any military action against her country will become a "nightmare" for Washington. His statements follow the announcement of a deployment of US naval forces in the Caribbean Sea, an operation that the White House justifies as part of its strategy against drug trafficking in the region.
During an act of enlistment of militiamen in the state of Carabobo, Rodriguez assured that Venezuela is prepared to respond to any intervention and accused U.S. leaders of promoting a confrontation. "It will go worse for them if they dare to aggression. We will be their calamity, we will be their nightmare, and it will also mean the instability of this entire continent", he affirmed, also warning that an eventual attack "would cause them great damage to their own country.”
Chavismo's internal mobilization
The regime of Nicolás Maduro pulses this weekend the second phase of registration of militiamen, which according to Caracas is aimed at defending the country against what it describes as threats from the United States. For this stage, 945 registration points were enabled throughout the country, after the first day, held at the end of August, more than 15,000 posts were activated in communities, barracks and public squares.
