Pedro Urruchurtu on VOZ News.
On VOZ News, journalist Enrique Teuteló interviewed Venezuelan opposition leader Pedro Urruchurtu on the recent lawsuit by U.S. citizens against Cartel de Los Soles, the drug trafficking organization led by high-ranking members of the Venezuelan regime and the Venezuelan military, which was recently designated by the administration of President Donald Trump as a narco-terrorist group.
"The reality is that there is a crystal clear understanding of what the regime is and its criminal nature. The U.S. administration led by President Trump and Secretary [Marco] Rubio, they understand what the regime is, not only in its criminal nature, but even in its state-terrorist nature. ... What is happening in the Caribbean is a consequence of what the regime does. The regime is a criminal regime, therefore, it is putting the stability of the entire hemisphere at risk. Therefore, what we are seeing here are exercises in defense of sovereignty of these countries that are being directly affected by these crimes, and obviously the defense of the national interest in particular, and fundamentally of the United States," commented Urruchurtu.
