Terrorist attack in Jerusalem leaves at least one dead
Israeli law enforcement forces killed at least two terrorists.
Israel reported that a terrorist attack took place in Jerusalem on Thursday. The authorities explained that, after the attack, one person was killed. That person has been identified as 20-year-old Abraham Petna. He was part of the military police. Several others were wounded at the scene.
Israeli sources explained that at least two terrorists were killed after Israeli forces responded to the attack.
50 Israeli soldiers killed by terrorists
The information about the terrorist attack came just hours after the Israel Defense Forces reported that two soldiers died fighting this Wednesday in the northern Gaza Strip.
The victims were identified as Captain Asaf Master, 22, from Kibbutz Bahan in central Israel, platoon commander of the 601st Battalion of the 401st Brigade; and Captain Kfir Itzhak Franco, 22, platoon commander of the 52nd Battalion of the 401st Brigade. So far, 50 Israeli soldiers have been killed in the war against Hamas.
The Times of Israel reported, "The IDF says a reserves officer with the Negev Brigade was seriously wounded during fighting in Gaza yesterday, and a reserves military member with the Gaza Division was seriously wounded during operational activity in the Gaza border area."
