Tyler Herro led Miami Heat with 20 points to a key 117-105 home win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday at Kaseya Center that allows them to continue to move up in the NBA's Eastern Conference.

Miami is already guaranteed a play-in spot and a strong finish to the season could put them into the eighth seed, which would give them two chances to qualify for the Playoffs.

Erik Spoelstra's team separated itself in the fourth quarter, a 34-22 win over the Sixers in which Duncan Robinson hit 3 3-pointers and scored 12 of his 21 points in the game. Bam Adebayo was out for Miami with back discomfort.

Triple double by Domantas Sabonis

In another Monday game, the Sacramento Kings defeated the Detroit Pistons, 127-117, with solid performances by DeMar DeRozan (37) and Zach LaVine (43), who combined for 80 points.

Lithuanian-American Domantas Sabonis contributed a triple-double for the Kings with 19 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists, while off the bench, fellow Lithuanian Jonas Valanciunas had 10 points and 12 rebounds.

With this win, Sacramento maintains a one-game lead over the Dallas Mavericks in ninth place in the Western Conference.

Detroit, meanwhile, suffered its second consecutive loss, without major consequences since it has locked up sixth place in the Eastern Conference and direct qualification to the Playoffs.
