‘AMERICA250: A Hispanic Vision’: A project to highlight the role of Hispanics in the US
A wide-ranging program featuring a business summit, film and urban art will highlight the importance of the Hispanic community on the country's 250th anniversary.

AMERICA250: A Hispanic Vision
To mark the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence, the Spain-U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Florida, together with the Global Hispanic Council, announced in Miami “AMERICA250: A Hispanic Vision” in Miami—a project designed to highlight the historical contribution of Hispanics and discuss their pivotal role in the country's future.
The initiative kicks off with the A250: Hispanic Leadership Summit, to be held on Nov. 17 and 18, 2026, at the Freedom Tower and Miami Dade College. The event will bring together renowned leaders from the business, academic, and public sectors.
Later that same day, Nov. 18, Jungle Island will host the Hispanic Celebration Gala, an event that will bring together 500 prominent figures for an evening focused on networking, Spanish cuisine, and live Cuban music.
The story of the project comes to the screen with “The American Dream: Hispanic Voices,” a documentary scheduled to premiere in March 2027. The production will examine the evolution of the American Dream through the testimonies of prominent figures such as Jorge Pérez, Emilio and Gloria Estefan, Daniella Levine Cava, and Madeline Pumariega, and will be screened at film festivals and on streaming platforms.
Finally, the cultural aspect will be showcased in “Synchronía: Open Sky Museum,” a contemporary digital art project. Seven prominent Hispanic artists will create exclusive works exploring Hispanic heritage. These pieces will be presented on Nov. 23 at the Freedom Tower and will culminate in 2027 with an unprecedented urban installation: the simultaneous and synchronized display of the works on public and private LED screens throughout Miami, transforming the city into an open-air museum.
