"I’ve know Frank for more then half my life and what you’ve seen on TV has always been what I have seen, a dreamer who was just as sensitive as he was funny,” Wolfe wrote in the post, which he added a photo of the two of them on the show.
"We’ve been on countless trips and shared so many miles and I feel blessed that I was there by his side when he took one last journey home. I love you buddy and will miss you so much I know your in a better place,” Wolfe said.
The duo was last seen in public in 2020, when Fritz unexpectedly left the show. Despite having had differences following Fritz's departure from reality, several friends confirmed to Fox News that Fritz and Wolfe maintained their friendship.
"They were not feuding. They needed separation to appreciate each other,” said a source consulted by the news outlet.
