Pink cancels two Tacoma, Wash., concerts due to 'family medical issues'

Pink canceled two of her performances in Tacoma, Wash., Monday due to "family medical issues." As announced by the singer through her Instagram account, both concerts, scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, will be "rescheduled." In addition, the artist assured that Live Nation, the company managing her tour, will soon announce new dates for these shows:

Tacoma shows postponed: I am so sorry to inform the Tacoma ticket holders that the two shows October 17 and October 18 (tomorrow and wednestday) will be postponed. Live Nation are working on future days to reschedule. Family medical issues requiere our immediate attention. I send everyone my sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this has caused. I am sending nothing but love and health to all.

According to the artist, the cancellation of her shows was due to "family medical issues" that required her immediate attention. Pink has been married since 2006 to former professional motocross rider Carey Hart, per UPI. They have two children, a 12-year-old girl, Willow, and a 6-year-old boy, Jameson. The singer did not report any information about the medical emergency or the person involved. The tour that began last Thursday in Sacramento, Calif.
