Red numbers for Joe Biden: more than 73,000 illegal immigrants managed to evade border security

Never before has such a high number of leaks been recorded at the border. The whereabouts of the migrants are unknown.

A new Fox News report has once again exposed the Biden administration's mismanagement of the border, as this time, the number of people who managed to sneak past Border Patrol (BP) officials has surpassed all previous records.

According to the aforementioned media, last November alone, more than 73,000 migrants managed to enter the country illegally, which translates into approximately 2,400 people entering daily, evading the authorities and leading to a complete lack of control at the southern border.

The situation not only raises concerns about the massive number of people who have managed to evade the agents, but also because it is completely unknown if within this large group of illegal migrants who walk totally free within the nation, whether or not there are large numbers of traffickers, gang members or other types of criminals.

It should be noted that this new figure is based on detections that have been made by other types of surveillance outside the U.S. authorities, which means that the number could be higher, as it does not count those who have not been seen.

As of last September, an average of more than 55,000 "leaks" were estimated, a number that, if added to those known since the beginning of fiscal year 2021, equaled a population greater than that of the largest city in San Francisco, said Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. However, this parallelism would fall short considering the new data presented.

It should be noted that border agents denounce that their hands are tied in the face of a situation that continues to worsen under the consent of the Biden administration.

In fact, a BP official speaking on condition of anonymity told Fox News that they feel "no support, no backing and no leadership" in the face of the severe crisis they face.

Another shocking statistic revealed by Fox News was the number of migrant detentions last November, which is estimated to have exceeded 200,000, an extremely worrying figure when compared to the 174,000 that were found during the same month last year.

The end of Title 42 is near

Even though the crisis has been imminent, the Biden administration recently acknowledged that the situation could worsen in the wake of the end of the border policy implemented by Donald Trump, better known as Title 42.

This measure was put in place since March 2020 during Trump's presidency, it allowed border agents to turn away groups of migrants due to the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions.

However, Title 42 will come to an end after a federal judge declared it illegal, which according to the Biden Administration's own projections, would mean that illegal migrant crossings would double.
