The Federation for American Immigration Reform claims Biden Administration policies are "deliberate sabotage of our nation's immigration laws" and calls for the removal of Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas.

The Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) reported that 5.5 million illegal immigrants have crossed the border since Joe Biden took office as president.

FAIR analyzed the latest immigration data for the 2022 fiscal year, which shows record numbers of illegal aliens entering the country. The organization pointed directly to President Biden as well as Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas as the culprits of the border crisis. Dan Stein, president of FAIR, points out that these numbers "are a direct consequence of open border policies" and calls the Biden Administration's policies "deliberate sabotage of our nation's immigration laws."

Nothing will improve until there is a public servant leading the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) who believes in borders—and secure ones at that. We cannot even begin to reverse this disaster so long as our nation's immigration policies are in the hands of someone who is bent on compounding it. No matter how late at night this administration releases data, the numbers still speak for themselves. President Biden needs to clean house at DHS, and, if he is not prepared to do it, Congress needs to clean it for him, beginning with the impeachment of Secretary Mayorkas.

Record number of "known gotaways"

Border Patrol agents apprehended nearly 210,000 illegal aliens at the southern border in October. In addition, agents counted another 86,796 "known gotaways," i.e., immigrants they saw crossing but were unable to apprehend because of their focus on processing.

According to FAIR, this is believed to be the highest number of "known gotaways" ever detected. They warn that the figure is especially worrisome because "agents have reason to believe those who have criminal records or are on the terror watch list are among those sneaking through."

In this regard, it should be noted that FY 2022 also saw a record number of terrorists enter the country. Nearly 100 individuals on the FBI's terrorist watch list were arrested while attempting to enter from Mexico in a 12-month span.
