Early polls give 5% to the America Party, which would allow the Democrats to overtake the GOP

Conservatives would prevail (48-47%) in an eventual head-to-head with the Blue Party without the presence of any candidate from the formation launched by Elon Musk.

The irruption of Elon Musk's America Party on the political chessboard would allow the Democratic Party to get ahead of the GOP in an eventual election. The new formation would garner 5% of the votes, allowing the Democrats to become the first force with 45% of support, compared to 41% for the conservatives.

According to the Echelon Insight poll, without the new party's contest, an eventual Republican candidate would get 48% of the vote, compared to 47% for the Democrat, with 6% undecided.

As many as 32% of voters would consider voting for the America Party in the future

The worst thing for the GOP, however, is that as many as 32% of those surveyed said they would consider voting for a future candidate from the America Party, compared to 39% who say they have no intention of ever casting a ballot with the name of an aspirant of this party.

Forty-four percent of voters have heard of the America Party since Musk announced its launch last week. However, 53% say they’ve heard little or nothing about the new political movement.
