Most Americans believe that former President Barack Obama has great influence on Joe Biden's administration. This was demonstrated by a survey conducted by Rasmussen Reports.

Likewise, the study showed that Americans (53%) agree with a Republican congressman's claim that Biden is a “puppet” for progressives, led by Obama.

"The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 63% of Likely U.S. Voters believe it is likely that Obama is influencing the policies of the Biden administration, including 40% who consider it Very Likely," Rasmussen Reports explained in the survey.

The survey also revealed that 29% do not believe it is likely that the Biden administration is influenced by Barack Obama, including 13% who say it is not at all likely.

The survey was conducted January 15-17, 2024 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research.
