Actress Blake Lively filed a formal complaint against Justin Baldoni, director and co-star of the cinematographic adaptation of It Ends With Us. According to an exclusive report with new information from People magazine, the allegations include sexual harassment, emotional manipulation and a smear campaign in retaliation for speaking out.

The complaint - filed Dec. 20 with the California Department of Civil Rights - marks the first step toward a possible employment lawsuit. In the document, Lively details episodes that - according to her - created a toxic environment both on and off set, noting that her goal is to "protect those who are still afraid to speak out."

Lively and her serious allegations against Baldoni

The report exposes alleged situations that occurred during the production of the film. Among the most serious, Lively accuses Baldoni of entering her trailer without permission while breastfeeding, improvising unarranged kisses during scenes and making derogatory comments about her weight and appearance.

In addition, the actress claims that Baldoni coordinated a media attack against her, using social networks and false publications to damage her reputation.

While Baldoni flatly denies the accusations and calls them "unfounded," other important media figures have expressed their support for Lively. Separately, the WME agency announced it cut ties with Baldoni following the allegation, and his co-host on The Man Enough podcast, Liz Plank, resigned her position, citing ethical differences.

With a legal process underway that could include counterclaims by Baldoni, the outcome of this dispute could become a key moment in assessing the real state of the industry. Lively, for her part, has made it clear that she will not stop in her quest for justice.
